Pinger: Call + Phone SMS App App Reviews

Ive been using Pinger for for six years now. It keeps getting better and better. Its so handy when I need to text someone and I have no phone signal but I have Wi-Fi. Its an app that Ill never get rid of.

I normally dont write too many reviews unless an app really deserves it. If you are looking for a great calling and texting app, you have it right here. I would highly recommend this app. Very good call service, very clear sound. And not to forget, great emojis! Who cant live without them?!? They are really cool and there are SO MANY!!! I love this app, it worked perfect, and was exactly what I was looking for!

I like how its free and not all these pop up ads like others and for it being free

I have legitimately been using this app since I got the iPhone 4 a week after it was released. It saved me from having to get an unlimited texting plan back then when they werent standard or anything. So I have been a loyal pinger user nearly since its inception and have seen it become into a refined full app. Ive had my issues with it like reliability and everything but they were always eventually fixed. However, this new update brings in full page ads with a tiny ex. Im used to the ads they had before but this is too much. Ive been with yall for nearly 6 years or so now. Please work something out with the advertising people to not have to have ads like this Thanks

App is worthless now with full page ad with every text. No matter where you click it takes you to App Store....after....every....single...text!

App pretty good, but has glitches on the iPod 6

It would be perfect if I could figure out how to get the visual alert icon to go away after I respond to it.

I thoroughly enjoy having the ability to text on my iPod. The two drawbacks that I have noticed are that sometimes the app begins dialing a number instead of accessing the message for texting; and sometimes the app will not open. This may be an issue with the iPod OS, so others may not have these issues. I do love the free texting service.

good app, you get your own number and text for free. call quality could be better, and been in situations when meeting friends and signal to week to use app

I love this app. I downloaded it before moving to Japan and have used it constantly to text my family and friends. I have a local United States area code so its totally free and easy for us to stay in touch. I use the phone often and it works great! I save a lot of money if and when I have to call the United States.
